Does bronze age?
Yes, under the right conditions, or rather unfortunate conditions, bronze is subject to galvanic corrosion. I was curious to see how the keel bolts would look , and if they had aged well or not... Well, here are the pictures, not very reassuring, and definitely not reusable. The left bolt shows a ring of reddish color around the golden core. Strike the bolt and the ring disintegrates leaving the core at right.
The same three bolts. The heads were exposed to the salt water and are even more corroded. Barely 1/4 of the original diameter is left.
